That’s why it’s the leading online retail mortgage lender and the second overall mortgage lender in the U.S. The current CEO of Quicken Loans, Bill Emerson has created a lot of growth and leadership in the company since 2002 after starting out as a mortgage banker in 1993. He has a real vision for the company and strives to take care of his clients. Here’s why I rate Quicken Loans, Inc. a 9 out of 10.

Amazing Online Presence and Integration of Mobile Software

One of the key things I truly enjoy about this company is how they’ve really put the bar up as far as integrating technology and business. I found the desktop site very easy to navigate due to the sleek design and fast loading times. If you are using a mobile device the mobile site is fully functional as well. There is even a representative that will chat with you online to answer any questions you have concerning your mortgage. You’ll find that two separate mobile apps are provided such as the mortgage calculator and the MyQL, which is a mobile app form of doing your Quicken Loans. These are very solid apps that deserve to be recognized due to both being easy to use by the consumer. If you’re in a pinch and need to check on things, MyQL is solid. However, it’s not perfect because you will still have to go on the computer to do some tasks, such as make payments. They may have their own personal reason for this extra step but it is still inconvenient. The mortgage calculator functions really well and realtors and customers alike have both praised it for being an asset– especially on the go.



Quicken Loans has a very good social media game and they regularly update with good content on FacebookTwitterGoogle Plus, and YouTube. They offer specials, mortgage information, insight into the company, customer reviews and much more. It’s no wonder why they’ve been rated as ‘Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Mortgage Servicing Companies’ in the U.S. by J.D. Power. There are a lot of testimonies from clients on the site as well as the YouTube channel that you can view. It’s great that they have the confidence to upload these reviews on their page. I can see why they’ve been considered a good business for nearly 30 years. If you’re still a bit curious you can check out the customer reviews from other sites. Judging from the reviews I’ve read, Quicken Loans is pretty steadfast in the way they handle business relations; they are on time, reasonable, and provide fairness for each client. I did not find too many bad apples in the list of reviews. From the employee perspective, the testimonials were for the most part on the same positive level. Some even loved the fact that the business had no strict dress code, and that the work environment was friendly. Some employees mentioned getting discounts on shopping items around the Downtown Detroit area too. Gotta love perks!
